Specialization of Work
There were various jobs that the Indus people could do; because of their silt gardens and water access majority of the population were farmers and traders. Other occupations during that time was craftsmen, potters and weavers. Their major trading civilization was with the Mesopotamians. Because of the Indus River, trading was very simple due to the fact that it was their major transportation system. Their trades were so big that some evidence has shown they also traded with Egypt and Crete.
Their Technology
The Indus population has created many technology that modern people today still use. The drainage system found under ground is one the the many things we still use, other things are the toilets or bathrooms. Back then they too had a toilet which was able to flush things out of their houses into the sea. Their pottery making is very advanced with many details so therefore they mastered the art of pottery making. They had spears, bows and arrows also. They make their spear heads from copper and bronze and rarely stones. They also made knives, hammer, needles, fish hooks, axes, razors and saw. They mixed copper and tin to make bronze then from that they made their tools.
